Janelle Monae — who last week released her album Dirty Computer — clarified that the pants she wore in her “PYNK” music video weren’t necessarily meant to simulate a vagina, and also clarified that her femme anthem is for all women, no matter what genitals they possess.
“Sometimes I think people interpret those as vagina pants, they call them vulva pants, they call them flowers, but it just represents some parts of some women,” Monae told People. “There are some women in the video that do not have on the pants, because I don’t believe that all women need to possess a vagina to be a woman. I have one I’m proud of it, but there’s a lot of policing and controlling that people are trying to have over our vaginas and when you think about female genital mutilation, when you think about all these women’s issues, I wanted to make sure we were discussing these issues but we were also celebrating each other.”
When “PYNK” was first released, Monae’s co-star (and rumored girlfriend) Tessa Thompson voiced her support for trans women.
Monae supported Thompson’s statement with one of her own.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will be removing both Digimon Universe Appli Monsters and the free-to-play Digimon Universe Appli Monsters -Cyber Arena- from the Japanese 3DS eShop on 30 November 2017 at 12:00 JST for undisclosed reasons.
This month’s V-Jump has leaked online (source). This is their Digimon Adventure tri. page. I’ll wait for a translation before I make any definitive judgments, but sadly it seems that we aren’t getting any new information from V-Jump this month.
A few thoughts:

Grand jury “Witness 40,” whose testimony helped Officer Darren Wilson escape criminal charges in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, has been revealed as a virulently racist St. Louis woman with serious credibility issues. The Smoking Gun reported Monday that information gathered from the unredacted portions of the grand jury transcript had identified the witness as 45-year-old Sandra McElroy, a divorced mother of five who was diagnosed as bipolar as a teenager.
She admitted to grand jurors that she had pleaded guilty in 2007 to two counts of felony check fraud, and she also testified that she had suffered from memory problems since suffering serious head injuries in a 2001 car wreck.
She claimed to be connected to other criminal cases that turned out to be LIES!!!! This is who the Prosecutor put on the stand to say Darren Wilson was truthful, and that Mike Brown charged at Wilson. People want to criminalize Black so bad, they will put a racist liar on the stand.
I am so fucking furious right now. There was a toxic air attack on MFF (MidWest FurFest). SOMEONE TRIED TO POISON THE AIR AT THAT HOTEL TO KILL FURRIES. It has been proven that there was malicious intent. Some poor bastard had a seizure and had to be cut out of their several thousand dollar fursuit. Nineteen people were taken to the hospital.
I’m angry because people I loved were there. I’m angry because the media has such a negative opinion on furries that some would say they deserved it. But most of all I am OUTRAGED because this act of domestic terrorism will never get the attention it deserves because the people it affected were furries.
Read up and educate yourself because there are people out there that will say that whoever did this was justified to do so. I can’t even express how wrong that is.
An unboxing of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Collector’s Edition, which is due for North America on March 18 and Europe on March 21 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
To celebrate the Japanese launch of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix is opening shop in Tsutaya Ebisubashi in Osaka’s Dotonburi district. In addition to the game, which is set for release in Japan on November 21, the store will also stock various official goods like the game’s soundtrack and other collectible items from the game and the greater FF series. Square Enix will keep the shop open from November 13 to December 5.
In the West, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be available in North America on February 11, 2014, and in Europe on February 14, 2014.
A new screenshot for Final Fantasy X HD Remaster released by Square Enix reveals one of the trophies to be included in the game. The trophy shown, called “Megastrike” in Japanese, apparently requires the player to attack for 99,999 HP damage in one hit.
Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will be available as a bundle for Playstation 3, and separately for Playstation Vita later this year.
